About Me

Scott Doorley is the Stanford d.school’s creative director. At the d.school, Scott has overseen everything from books and spaces to websites and initiatives all focused on the future of learning and design. Scott co-authored two books, Make Space (Wiley, 2012) and the upcoming Assembling Tomorrow (Ten Speed/PRH, 2024). With a background in film, Scott teaches classes at the intersection of media and design. His design work and interactive installations have been shown in museums from San Jose to Helsinki, Finland and his work has appeared in publications from The New York Times to Fast Company and Architecture + Urbanism.
