About Me
Megan Stariha is the associate academic director at the Stanford d.school, focused on leading the operational components of the d.school’s degree and elective programs. Megan collaborates with pedagogical and curriculum experts to create experiments and projects that push design education forward, and shapes how student learning experiences are measured and understood. Megan has also contributed to the d.school’s emerging tech initiative, crafting curriculum at the intersection of design and emerging technologies that aim to increase access and participation in shaping the future of tech. She has devoted her career to the belief that education is the foundation of the change we hope to achieve in the world. Teaching design prepares the next wave of change makers to productively approach the world’s messiest problems.
