For Angela McKee-Brown, joy isn't incidental to good design—it's the whole point.
This philosophy drives Project Reflect, her food systems design lab built on the conviction that if you're joyful, you design something joyful, and the best solutions emerge when they’re shaped by the people you're serving. That conviction took root at the d.school, where Angela learned to listen deeply, center community needs, and approach the creative process with openness and play. As she puts it, the d.school has left many fingerprints on her life, in both how she does her work and in the excitement and energy she brings to it.
