Local government agencies—whether at the city, county, or township level—play a vital role in shaping people’s lives. From managing essential services and building critical infrastructure to addressing urgent challenges on the ground, their responsibilities are immense. Yet, despite their expertise, many local government offices struggle to connect with residents and design solutions that truly reflect community needs.

When local governments embrace a human-centered design approach, the results can be transformative. This method fosters trust, uncovers key insights, and ensures that solutions are both relevant and impactful.

In this two-part webinar series, local government employees will learn how to apply human-centered design principles to navigate complex challenges and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Through practical guidance and actionable strategies, participants will gain tools to create meaningful change in their communities.

Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation from the d.school.
