Join us on June 9 for our 2026 Book Club: Creative Essentials session with Kareem Collie.
In this virtual conversation, Kareem will dive into the Creative Essential: Embrace the messiness of ambiguity. He’ll share personal anecdotes about the power of saying yes and moving forward—even without a clear path—and how navigating the unknown can lead to unexpected opportunities, growth, and creative breakthroughs.
Kareem is the co-editor of The Black Experience in Design: Identity, Expression & Reflection, a collection that highlights the voices and contributions of Black designers while encouraging a more inclusive future for the field. He has led design at Nickelodeon, Coca-Cola, and IBM, and he is currently the Design Director and Manager at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. In addition to his industry work, Kareem has taught at Claremont Colleges, Pratt Institute, and the Stanford d.school.
You’ll hear directly from Kareem, connect with fellow participants in small group discussions, and join a live Q&A. This session is designed for anyone interested in creativity—whether you’re navigating change, exploring new directions, or looking to expand how you approach your work.
Be part of this dynamic and insightful session!
