You’re invited to join the second session of our 2026 Book Club: Creative Essentials, featuring bryant terry, multidisciplinary artist, chef, publisher, and author.
In this virtual session on February 10, bryant will speak to the Creative Essential: Be curious — stay curious. Drawing from his expansive work across food, art, and liberation, he’ll explore how curiosity fuels creativity and take us into the world of Black Food, a beautiful and groundbreaking book exploring Black foodways, which he curated and edited.
bryant was the inaugural Chef-in-Residence at San Francisco’s Museum of the African Diaspora. He is also the founder and editor-in-chief of 4 Color Books (an imprint of Penguin Random House), where he collaborates with visionary creatives of color to produce visually striking nonfiction.
During the session, we’ll hear directly from bryant, connect with one another in small breakout groups, and engage in a live Q&A. Whether you’re a designer, educator, chef, creative, or simply curious about strengthening your creative practice, this session offers a meaningful way to continue the Creative Essentials series.
We hope you’ll join us for this inspiring conversation.
