For the past two decades, Thomas Both has been teaching the ways of design.
Through classes, workshops, and coaching, Thomas' passion is helping people understand the practice of human-centered design - and their ability as designers - to innovate how they learn, think and problem solve.
As Associate Creative Director Thomas creates meaningful and impactful design experiences, and empowers the d.school as a whole to do so as well. He co-leads the d.school's Design for Social Impact program, teaching and coaching social sector leaders to utilize practices of human-centered design, systems, equity, and strategy to take on complex social challenges.
Beyond design, Thomas embraces his other roles as an artist, engineer and rambunctious father to two daughters.
