Stacey Gray is our d.school Chief of Staff which means she’s a whirlwind of organizing us and getting things done.
Her Master’s in Counseling coupled with a wry sense of humor and an affinity for non sequiturs keeps us grounded, laughing and wondering what would happen if we ran out of coffee. She is happiest near the ocean, but does not surf due to her inexplicable lifelong fear of sharks. She loves novels, but is more focused on short stories. She married her childhood best friend. She prefers to marinate on ideas and thoughts before she’s ready to share them. She loves Led Zeppelin and knows every word to most one hit wonders from the 1980's. She loves podcasts. She often wonders what NPR reporters and podcasters look like but resists the temptation to look up their pictures. She loves working with the people on the d.team who challenge her to think about things differently but not more than her son whose observations and questions about the world stop her in her tracks every day. She does everything last minute and yet it all gets done.
