Silvio Sangineto is a global Human-AI Experience leader with over 15 years of experience leading Human-AI innovation across startups, scale-ups, and Fortune 500 companies. His work has touched over a billion users worldwide—shaping intuitive, scalable, and ethically-grounded AI experiences that blend systems thinking, user-centered design, and deep technical insight.
As Design & Research Director at Microsoft, Silvio has led multidisciplinary teams driving product and design strategy across Azure, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365. He played a key role in launching AI-native products including Azure Copilot (in the AKS space), Customer Insights, and Power Platform—solutions now adopted by 96% of the Fortune 500. His leadership continues to define user experience benchmarks in enterprise software.
Silvio’s cross-industry experience spans retail, automotive, robotics, healthcare, finance, education and cloud computing. From redefining in-store operations for Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s to transforming Human-AI experiences in robotics and mobility, he has built design systems and strategies that bring clarity to complexity and vision to scale.
He currently serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Stanford University’s d.school, where he coaches graduate students on interdisciplinary projects at the frontier of design, technology, and human impact. He previously taught at UC Berkeley, helping professionals grow their careers in the user experience field.
Silvio is also the CEO and founder of Lift Leaders, a platform designed to grow the next generation of leaders through coaching, mentorship, and experiential learning. He actively advises startups and founders through leading accelerators, including Plug and Play, MassChallenge, and 500 Startups—guiding teams to build purpose-driven, customer-centric organizations.
With a foundation in computer engineering and advanced training in AI, strategy, and leadership from institutions such as the Wharton School, the Duke University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Michigan, Silvio brings a rare combination of technical depth, strategic clarity, and human-centered leadership.
