Entrepreneur and investor

Omar is an entrepreneur and investor, currently serving as CEO of Joyride Games, a web3 games company building the next generation of blockchain games. His previous leadership roles include VP and Studio GM at the Walt Disney Company for its leading social and mobile studio, and CEO of Kiwi, Inc., a mobile Android games company. In these roles, Omar has built global teams and designed games that have entertained 300 million+ people and won industry awards.

Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Omar worked in design, strategy, and finance at IDEO, McKinsey, and Bain Capital. He is also a founding partner at Graph Ventures, a pre-seed/seed firm that has invested in 200+ early stage companies since 2010. His educational background includes an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar and an AB (Honors) degree in Social Studies from Harvard College.

At the d.school, Omar has developed and taught classes at the intersection of design and entrepreneurship since 2011. His academic interests revolve around solving hard problems with design, finding product-market fit, and building new ventures, especially in frontier markets.
