Thoughtfully-designed human experiences for lasting and sustainable impact.

Granddaughter of ancestors Betty and Curtis, Andres and Virginia. Daughter of ancestors Janeen and Andy. Mother of Mahri. Wife to Phong. 2nd Mother to Jeremiah. Dog mama to Kau’i, Dayz and Hapa.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, been in the Bay Area for 20 years, and am currently working across the country and world to help humans to ‘human’ better.

I am a founder, systems leader, liberatory designer, and emergent strategist. I work in the social impact space and say ‘yes’ to working on problems and projects that are aligned with my values, and principles - that have the potential to make meaningful change for good.

My realm tackles gnarly problems by hosting inclusive, liberatory design experiences that balance deep, rigorous work with boundless, joyful possibilities. I support people and teams see ways to improve systemic conditions that are not serving them, and in that, they are also able to see their own wisdom. I help people design human experiences that engage, delight, and enliven their work toward justice.

I first intersected with the d.school through School Retool, as a school leader. Since then, I have designed, coached and collaborated on various projects, most recently Futures Thinking in K12.
