Tinkering, building, and testing is what I do. Whether that's at home on personal projects with my soldering iron, 3D printer, and Arduinos or professionally in the lab. I am curious and love to learn new things. Don't know how to make or do something? Time to learn and make it happen. For my bachelors, I majored in mechanical engineering with a minor in digital arts—specifically because I am extremely passionate about cross-disciplinary learning. I like to play in the world between art and engineering. This space is where design comes in. One of my catchphrases is "Put the FUN in FUNctional!" I love the entire process of design—brainstorming, sketching, CAD, FEA, rapid prototyping, testing, working with vendors/manufacturers.... I thrive on the entire design process. Start to finish.
