Overview
This class is for all PhD students at all levels who wish to produce high-quality research output and better understand how creativity can help them gain clarity, make insights and produce sustainable progress.
Science is not a linear path but happens in reality very differently, we get stuck, we take unexpected turns, we get rejected, our experiments fail, we get scooped. During Covid many researchers were working from home and lacked means to get unstuck, find fresh inspiration and advance their project.
Take this class if you wish to complement your analytical skills with creative problem solving abilities so that you can face the unknown, learn from failure without feelings of guilt, manage your energy, time and emotions and cultivate reflective practice to build resilience. We will explore how to be playful and have fun while exploring your research topic and how you can embrace ambiguity that is inherent and critical to innovative research.
