In a d.school class you'll learn and practice specific tools, tactics, mindsets and behaviors that will help you develop core design abilities - abilities that you'll be able to apply not only in class, but to your work elsewhere at Stanford and long after you leave the Farm. 

You'll be developing your abilities by working on real projects. Our classes are all experiential in format and offered in different ways and styles, adapted to the topics of each specific class. We encourage students to explore subjects outside their field of study and beyond their comfort zone.
