We feel that "Bias Toward Action" is a core principle or mindset of design thinking. In the most basic sense, it means that we promote action-oriented behavior, rather than discussion based work.
We see action (e.g. getting out and engaging users, prototyping & testing) as a way to get a group unstuck, to inspire new thinking, and to come to agreement as a group.
"Bias Toward Action" is reflected in almost everything we do. There are lots of methods that encourage action rather than discussion as a way to make decisions.
