Amal Aziz
Front-end Engineer and Interaction Designer, Luidia
Amal first came to the d.school during the Summer of 2007, as a student in a week long course called “Adventures in Design Thinking.” Needless to say, after this initial two-week experience, she knew she had finally found a place on campus she could call “home.” She has spent the last few years building lasting relationships with the d.school’s extended community, working on Ambidextrous Magazine, and sharing and expanding upon the lessons learned while at the d. The d.school is also where Amal developed a special love for whiteboards and thinking about how ideas can be captured and shared digitally — this is the awesomely-complex problem she is working on solving right now at Luidia, a small company based in San Carlos, where she works as a front-end engineer and interaction designer.
