THE MAIN EVENT

The Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford (d.school) is thrilled to host its first annual Design Diploma Ceremony and celebrate the Class of 2023 with their friends and families.  Our ceremony will take place immediately after the main commencement ceremony held at Stanford Stadium.

  • What: Design Diploma Ceremony host by the Stanford d.school

  • When: Sunday, June 18, 2023 starting at 1pm

  • Where: Kennedy Grove, Stanford, CA 94305

  • Who: Graduates of the Class of 2023 (BS and MS) + their guests

  • Food: Yes! Lunch will be available starting at 11:30am at the Stanford Humanities Center Patio, adjacent to the Kennedy Grove.

Due to the fact that our ceremony venue is an open grove, we highly recommend all attendees to avoid wearing heels or risk getting stuck in the soft terrain!

The best way to get to Kennedy Grove from Stanford Stadium is to drive and park at the Tresidder Parking Lot at the corner of Mayfield Avenue and Lagunita Drive. Kennedy Grove is a short 5 minute walk from the Tresidder Parking Lot.
