Students join designers and mentors to learn where they live and develop a personal design ethos and create meaningful experiences for their fellow students.

Through hands-on activities, readings and lectures students will assume the role of designer-in-residence to practice critical design techniques and bring their ideas into reality. Students who take on large-scale projects may be eligible for 2 units. This class is open to pre-assign residents of the Lantana Design House. Non-Lantana residents can contact instructors with interest.
