Maryanna Rogers
Since leaving her home in Alabama, Maryanna has constantly been on the look-out for opportunities to tie together art, design, and science – from learning the art and science of film production at Northwestern to developing programs, curricula, and media with psychologists and NGOs.
Maryanna received a doctoral degree from the Stanford University School of Education. Her research investigates the ways individuals participate in and learn from creative collaboration. Findings have implications for both work settings – how to build communities that support creativity and positive group experiences – and educational settings – how to engage students in learning opportunities that build 21st century skills.
Offers Maryanna can never refuse: making things with new tools and excuses to learn new languages.
